A very popular question we have always been asked is,
Do you need to seal Blue Rock Paint ?
The immediate answer to this question is ‘NO’
Blue Rock Paint contain a matte sealer to keep it a ‘True Matte’ clay mineral paint, and it also block stains.
However, if you wish to seal it with Poly Acrylic based sealer, you are more than welcome to do it.
In the featured image you can check out a difference between the finished looks of Poly Acrylic, Clear Wax and no top coat, respectively.
Poly Acrylic used was a satin finish, so you can see there is a bit of sheen on it. Clear wax enhanced the black colour and gave it a soft velvety look, however no topcoat is a true matte finish.
